UPDATE: Mark Rogondino, who normally does play-by-play for the LA Galaxy will be calling Wednesday's U.S. Open Cup alongside Taylor Graham.
Ross Fletcher may be denying us the soothing sounds of his voice as he's off in London playing hooky (calling the Summer Olympics), but Seattle Sounders will apparently be in for quite a little treat while he's away. Gus Johnson, who has made a name for himself mostly calling basketball, will be doing the Sounders' play-by-play for Sunday's game against the New York Red Bulls. Johnson has been doing radio play-by-play for the San Jose Earthquakes this season.
Looking forward to working w @gusjohnson & @KaseyKeller18 on Sun 1pm @SoundersFC on @973KIROFM.

There's been no word about whether Johnson will be calling any others Sounders' games. Assuming Fletcher is at the Olympics until the closing ceremonies on Aug. 12, he won't be back with the Sounders until they host the Vancouver Whitecaps on Aug. 18.
If you're unfamiliar with some of Johnson's work, here's a mixtape with some of his more iconic NCAA Tournament calls:
And just to show he calls soccer, too, here's some audio of him calling the Earthquakes-Red Bulls game earlier this year:
