Seeing Galatasaray has recently signed Sneijder and Drogba, might there be a possibility of us landing one of the recently displaced players from their squad? With Turkish rules prohibiting more than 6 foreigners from starting at any time, their Turkish players may not be available. However Johan Elmander, Milan Baros, or even Felipe Melo might suddenly be available? Timing fits for us, Baros was looking at joining Drogba in China this summer but wage demands made it impossible. I'd love to see us sign a youth DP, but signing a 'not quite over the hill' player with regular national team and champions league experience sure sounds nice too. I'm probably aiming too high with Melo, but Baros hasn't made an appearance yet this year, just retired from national duty. He and Elmander are only 31-32.
