I will start this by saying I love our team and the beautiful sport they play so please don't take me as a troll. I scream and yell and get mad and happy and sad and frustrated like the rest of you. I have let this passion get the best of me at times and have said mean things about our coach and I apologize for that. That being said, I think it's time for a change. I think the game has passed Sigi by. His resume is very impressive and he has won on the collegiate and professional level. I cannot argue that. I feel that because of his past successes, he is stubborn in his own ways and unwilling to adapt and change his philosophies and approach to the ever changing MLS game. I said after the embarrassing loss to RSL in the playoffs a couple years back that we needed a new coach. I said after the ass kicking by LA in the playoffs last year that we needed a new coach. Each time I said this, people would defend our coach and say I was overreacting. This season however, I have noticed that more people are getting on board with the idea of a new coach running our beloved squad. Who's on board with me? What will it take to fire Sigi? For me, it's make it to the MLS Cup at minimum or else he must go. What about you? Is getting out of the first round enough? Are you content with Sigi running the squad next year if we go out in the first round this year? Do you believe that he will eventually take us to the promise land? Or do you want a new regime and a different approach for next season? Of course all this will be mute and we will all be ecstatic if we can right the ship and accomplish what we are capable of this season. I just wanted to bring this up based on our recent poor performances and see where we go next season if this ship continues to sink.
