Seattle Sounders FC sits atop the the Desert Diamond Cup standings and can assure themselves a spot in the NBC Sports televised final with a win today. So maybe the result matters just a bit more than a typical preseason match. Still the focus is fitness, cohesion and lineup choices.

As of Thursday Sigi was expecting his current First XI to go 45 in the first half and then mix in the rest of the roster. The focus for the First Team is getting ready for the CCL and so their training program is a bit different at this point in the season.

In the first half watch what routes of attack the Sounders use. It should have a little more variety than past years. In the second see how Caskey, Neagle and Martinez are all on the pitch at the same time and how that changes the attacking flow.
