Fredy pulled a GAM header in scoring in today's game winner for the Millos (1-0), running like EJ in between the centerbacks and peeling away for the header as the cross comes in. Interesting, and EJ's shot to the far post in the game against the Revs was reminiscent of Fredy. Could these two have learned a thing or two from each other?
If you're anything like me, you're also hoping that Fredy kills it with the Millos this year. And if he keeps things up as he has in the last three league games (while granted, it's just three games into the season), things should look good for him in the long run (and incidentally, for the Sounders).
The Millos will play Tijuana this coming Tuesday, 2/19 in the Copa Libertadores so hopefully Fredy's league form will translate into the bigger stage.
