There will be two very different approaches in tonight's Desert Diamond Cup Final between Seattle Sounders FC and Real Salt Lake. Sigi Schmid made it clear this week that it will be a run for second teamers and trialists since the First Team started against Veracruz on Friday night. Kreis will almost certainly run his A-Team out, though there are questions as to their second forward - Findley v Plata.

When you watch this match tonight on NBC Sports at 5 PM you will get a heavy dose of Seattle's depth. Shalrie Joseph could get a run since signing, as may Djimi Traore. The midfield is stacked with players with starting experience. David Estrada will probably play because he's Estrada.

Seattle is now 3-1-1 with a +4 goal differential in their tiny preseason. They may just get a trophy for games that don't matter.
