Look, we realize that the Seattle Sounders' record in games where we host viewing parties is not that great. But we are not letting that stop us. Sounder at Heart is hosting another viewing party at Golazo headquarters for the the Sounders' CONCACAF Champions League quarterfinal against UANL Tigres on March 6. Check out our Facebook page to keep up to date on the latest developments.
The doors will open at 5 p.m. and kickoff is scheduled for 7 p.m. We're hoping to have more details soon, but for now it looks like it will be a BYOB event, so please bring a few of your favorite adult beverages. There will be a beer garden where over-21 folks can drink and there's a separate TV in that area. We should also have a food truck. As usual, it's an all-ages event.
Golazo's headquarters is located on Capitol Hill (714 E Pike St., Seattle).
This year's charity partner is Hope Place, which provides a range of services. Several Sounders players are active volunteers there, most notably David Estrada. Please come prepared to make some kind of donation.
