Episode 109: Winning ugly is still winning

Brad White

The Sounders traveled across the continent and earned a 2-1 win over Toronto FC. We break down the match, discuss Dempsey's debu. We're joined by Joshua Mayers to talk about Tim Hortons and Niagara Falls...and soccer.

Clint Dempsey made his debut for the Sounders in their 2-1 win at Toronto FC on Saturday. We discuss the game, the less than stellar second half and how weird it is when Osvaldo Alonso has a bad game. Of course we assess how Dempsey looked after replacing Obafemi Martins late in the first half...because Dempsey.

We're joined by tired and travel worn Joshua Mayers from the Seattle Times for a first hand account of Dempseymania in Toronto and we find out if he saw Niagara Falls. There's also listeners questions and another edition of the Golazo Question of the Week.
