Well, what a great game it was last night and an awesome result to come away with all three points?! The energy on the field and in the stands was at fever pitch for almost the entire night and as a fan I wouldn't want it any other way. Unfortunately, the match wasn't without its warts though, too. Turns out some fans were throwing coins at the Fire bench late in the second half and may well have hit a player or two in doing so. I'm as big a supporter as most and know the passions of players, coaches and fans will certainly ebb and flow over the course of a match and even at times boil over. However, throwing anything at players, refs and/or anyone else for that matter is completely unacceptable and needs to be dealt with swiftly and sternly with those caught uninvited from future events. To represent the Seattle area and our teams is to be loud, proud and in for the full 90, 60 or nine innings but it certainly isn't to create scenarios where we could well cause injuries to either guests or our own whether in uniform or not.
