Well week one is done and the team run on advice from this community garnered 57 points. Based on the comments to last week's post I dropped Morales and brought in Marshall, Nagbe, and Berry.
The team did better than the average (average was 41 points), so not too bad. Ashe from the Houston Dynamo was our team's best player bringing in 11 points mainly on an assist and clean sheet points. And in case you are wondering, Remick pulled in seven points.
Now it is time to determine the line up for week two. I've listed the current roster below and noted in parenthesis anything you should be aware of such as DC's bye week making Kitchen unavailable.
The Current Team
Marshall (SEA) $8.5M
Eckersley (NY) $6.5M
Ashe (HOU) $7.0M
Benitez (DAL) $6.5M
Berry (PHI) $8.0M
Remick (SEA) $4.0M
Sundly (NE) $4.0M
Nagbe (POR) $9.5M
Rosell (SKC) $7.0M
Duka (DAL) $6.5M
Castillo (DAL) $7.0M
Kitchen (DC) $6.5M (DC has a bye week)
Martins (SEA) $9.5M
Findley (RSL) $7.5M (Listed as injured)
Sandoval (RSL) $7.0M (Listed as injured)
Salazar (HOU) $4.0M
We have two transfers. What should we do with them? We may want to replace one of the RSL forwards that are injured. I'd suggest replacing a midfielder. Who to bring in and who to send packing? And don't forget to propose a line up for the second week of games.
