Extended out to 2018 (World Cup year!) at over 200M$ total. That deal covers over half of non-DP salaries, essentially.

After emotions are down a little bit let analyze Gonzales/ Trujillo incident in my last game. After review my tape red to Gonzales harsh.
Even though Gonzales was instigator he did not make a contact above shoulders like I was told by my crew member on the field.
Not having the best view of the incident acted on opinion of my crew members. Saying that I am taking full responsibility for this call.

Select Champions League Games Streaming Online
Champions League group play starts tomorrow, and we have been given the chance to do some video scouting on some future opponents. Monterrey hosts Saprissa tomorrow at 7pm and is one of the select games that CONCACAF will be streaming online. Also streaming in the future are the first two Sounders' game. Will anyone be watching and taking notes?
Honestly... Not only to 30,000+ of you show up at home games, you get more comments on your GameThread before kickoff than I had the entire match. I’ve got some community building to do.

California seas have turned rave green, apparently because of a proliferation of algae. I prefer to think of it as an omen, though.

David Estrada interview
I've never heard of this blog, but they have a pretty lengthy interview with our own David Estrada. It's definitely worth a read.
How can RSL play in their 3rd kit consisting of yellow...yes the Sounders can't reflect electricity in league play?
I didn't think anything could make me smile more than last night's victory...until I watched this video clip of FL shanking a shot.....
