Noyola To Join Reign For Full 2013 Season

The Reign get a rare bit of good news as they announce that Teresa Noyola will be joining the team after the Algarve Cup.

The Seattle Reign have had to deal with a lot of challenges in their first year of existence. Star players Megan Rapinoe and Teresa Noyola are in Europe until mid-season. Amy Rodriguez is out for the entire season. Hope Solo has an injury that could have her out at the beginning of the season. The hits just keep coming.

But they got a rare bit of good news today when they announced that Noyola will be available for the team after all:

Noyola won the Hermann Trophy in 2011 with Stanford and is the star of the Mexican national team allocation. She's currently with her national team at the Algarve Cup, where they'll kick off their first match on the 6th. The final matches of the tournament are on the 13th, which would account for the 14th being the date she joins the Reign. That's two days before the team's first preseason match in Japan against Kobe Leonessa.
