That's probably good for us, in that it keeps either opponent from getting 3 points. You could make an argument that it's not a bad result for Marathon, though, as a tie on the road isn't bad at all. Picking up all 3 in T&T would be really nice...
West Connection and Caledonia AIA will face off on Thursday in the final of the CFU Club Champions Cup after winning their respective semi-final matches. The winner will join Group 4 with the Seattle Sounders and Marathon of Honduras, while the runner-up will be placed in Group 8 with Xelaju of Guatemala and Mexico's Chivas de Guadalajara.

Here's hoping that the third time is a charm for Seattle.
It seems the answer is finally known. Seattle skips the preliminary round and goes directly to the group stage. Two less games should help with fixture congestion a bit while also making it easier to actually make the knockouts again.
But do advance to the CFU Championship Final. One of Defence Force or Alpha United will be the CFU's 3rd team and be a potential opponent.
Canadian Championship still undecided after lightning and heavy rain canceled this week's 2nd leg.
Howard uses the same methodology as UEFA.
While Seattle didn't do well, they aren't the worst MLS side, not by far. Houston Dynamo are the number one team from the League, but RSL and Columbus both have a shot at passing.
Mexico has the top 10 teams and is clearly the best league in the region. USA falls to 3rd.
