As the Sounders FC world waits to see what 4-7 players will be announced prior to the expansion draft, and I wait on my editor to get back to me regarding my recent interview of Bob Aylward, the Seattle Mariners Executive Vice-President of Business Operations I thought I would bring you a little bit of the lighter side of life. This time in a 5-3-2.
But first a little poll
[poll id="2"]
Out at wingback I have been enjoying Pike Place Brewing Company's India Pale Ale available in some local Costcos. At the opposite wing we are roasting up the November lineup of CloverCrafted Coffees. My current fave is the Guatemala Antigua Medina, which I refer to as Plato's Antigua. In the middle of the defense I made my homemade alfredo (thank you Dani), tilapia with sun-dried tomato aioli, and lastly I enjoyed upscale trailer food at Skillet. Seriously a Kobe burger with cambozola, bacon jam, and arugula out of a mobile trailer? So very good.
In midfield, I must recommend the recent novel by Gibson, Spook Country. Upcoming on the reading list are Stephenson's Anathem and OSC's Ender in Exile.
At Center Forward is a new running blog I discovered through a coworker concentrating on the ForeFoot technique, Chev.as. It almost makes me want to run again and drop back down to my "playing weight."
And from the Striker - 3.7% chance of victory!
A teaser about the upcoming series about the Puget Sound SportScape: Seattle Mariners. There will be opportunities for Seattle Sounders FC to EXPAND their reach in the community beyond the 17,000+ fans they currently have.
