The Galaxy FO Shows Us How Seattle Could Have Hosed the Fans for Playoff Tickets

ka chingWith all our talk about ticket prices, and about teams valuing the fans, I thought you'd appreciate this comment left on our Galaxy blog.

What's happened in SoCal is that the #1 team in the West, the LA Galaxy, just happened to draw the #4 team, Chivas USA. As you know, the teams share a home stadium. And both teams are separately selling tickets to the playoff matches.

A comment from "ralphyboy" shows us how the kid brother team Chivas' playoff prices compare to those of Beckham's team, the Galaxy:

I too went through Chivas for 2 seats sect 134 first row-$52. Through ticketmaster or galaxy they were $163! I know I’ll be surrounded by Chivas fans, so I’ll be wearing my LAG gear, hopefully one of you will have my back when I stand up and cheer our first goal!

Wow. Makes me realize how much Seattle could have jacked up the prices. Yet they took just an extra $5.

I love our management.
