Reality TV Crashes and Burns (Or: What the HELL was that?)

So a couple of years ago, I was watching the wonderful TV show "Whose Line is it Anyway?"

If you're not familiar with it (and if you're not, you should be, if only because it was the show of our co-owner, Drew Carey), it's all improv. And one of the skits in this particular show required one of the improv guys, Ryan Stiles, to say only one line throughout the entire skit. The line?

"What the hell was that?"

The deliveries:

What the HELL was that!?!?
What the hell was THAT?!?!
WHAT the hell WAS that!?!?

That's kind of how I feel after learning that our reality TV winner, Vini Oliveira, was cut loose this week and didn't even make the trip to Portland.

What the HELL was that?

Seriously, was there a point here? The TV final was a farce that had nothing to do with the players on the field. So I figured that the final choice had something to do with what the player had shown in practice and the coaches' view of where he would fit into the team.

Apparently not.

So now Vini is gone. And...um...

WHAT THE HELL WAS THAT?!?!?!?!
