Time to Think About Starters

Up to now, I've been kind of mentally refusing to let my mind speculate on potential starting lineups, because I haven't seen the players yet. That's made it kind of impossible for me to visualize who would fit in best at which spot.

But Jose Romero over at the Seattle Times blog has seen the players, and he offered up his best guess today. And this best guess is probably pretty good, and it matches up to what I've read elsewhere.

So here is the probable expected pre-Ljungberg lineup, a 4-4-2 that looks something like this:

-------------------------Nate Jaqua--Fredy Montero--------------------
Sanna Nyassi-- Osvaldo Alonso--Brad Evans--Sebastien Le Toux
James Riley--Jhon Hurtado--Tyrone Marshall--Nathan Sturgis
-------------------------------------Kasey Keller---------------------------

I don't know about you, but looking at this gets me all kinds of excited for Thursday.

What do you think? Anybody you'd include instead? And what do you think they'll do when Freddie is well enough to start?
