Watching the Match (Or If You're at Home With Your Computer, Leave Comments and Keep me Company)

Out and about today? Greg Roth has a good listing of all the pubs showing the match over at Next Season Sports. Stop by the post, then head to the pub and drink one for me, will ya?

For anybody who's watching at home on TV near the computer like I will be, stop by here and keep me company in the comments. My husband has abandoned me for a guys' weekend, and watching the games is always a little more fun when it's a shared experience. But I''m not desperate. If you don't show up, I'll cheerfully keep myself amused by leaving my own comments. Because I'm easily entertained that way.

Game's at 7:30, pregame appears to start at 7:00, all on KING 5. Everybody in the universe is reporting that Chris Eylander is starting in goal, which could be a good thing given that he's faced down Chivas before in the US Open Cup. But like every other Seattle fan, I'm concerned about him being fully match-fit. Let's cross our fingers.

Elsewhere in the league, the Red Bulls have just scored their first goal of the season against RSL. (That would be the first goal that was not technically an own-goal by a member of an opposing team.) KC-Chicago starts in ten minutes on Fox Soccer -- a match I'm going to watch just to see what all the Chicago hype is about.

And that's it for a pregame post. Hope to see you here during the match.
