Who wants a Titi Hug? Seattle wants a Titi hug.
(This .gif has been making me smile for the past two years. Although not, y'know, continuously. I mean, a woman's gotta sleep.)
But it's absolutely official, and what did I tell you? In one of the worst-kept secrets of the year, Thierry (Titi) Henry and the boys from Barca will be coming to Seattle.
Seattle Sounders FC meet FC Barcelona at 7:30 August 5th.
From the Seattle Times:
FC Barcelona will play at Qwest Field on Aug. 5. Barcelona, of Spain's La Liga and a finalist in this year's European Champions League tournament, is the last of three bonus games on Sounders FC's 18-game season-ticket package that includes all 15 Major League Soccer regular-season games, a friendly against Chelsea of England on July 18 and the MLS Cup, the league championship game, in November, all at Qwest Field.
Tickets for the match against Barcelona go on sale to the general public June 15.
Here's what entertains me. It's almost like our extra ticket schedule was put together by a first-grade teacher:
C is for Cup
B is for Barcelona
A is for...um... For...uh... Almost made to the Champions League final?
(I know, that was low. Sorry, Chelsea fans. What can I say? Sometimes I'm just a really horrible person.)
