Seattle Heads to the USOC Semis! Seattle 1-0 KC

(Thanks for the videos, Kristi!)

It took until the 89th minute, but our guys won it.

I wasn't at the game. In truth, I must admit that I was actually at the Mariners game. (Familial duty kind of thing.) Mariners lost 12-4, which I think it my cosmic punishment for not giving proper attention to Seattle's one true team. Next time, guys. Next time.

From what I heard/read Seattle dominated the game but couldn't finish, and the refereeing was abysmal almost to a Tim Weyland degree. (If you weren't at the LA game? That's really, really bad.) Many were fouled but few were called. Or something like that.

That changed in the 89th minute, when the referee ruled that KC goalkeeper Kevin Hartman took down Fredy in the box. He may have, or this may have just been a karmic reward for all the other penalties that (according to everybody there) should have been called but weren't.

Whatever. We won. Tickets for the semifinal against Houston go on sale tomorrow at 10:00.
