With two games left in the season and a playoff spot locked up, it would be understandable if the Sounders mixed in several reserves with their starters.
Judging by Sig's comments this week, I don't think that's going to happen. The Sounders are on a pretty great roll and there's really no good reason to mess with that now, especially considering the playoffs are still more than two weeks away. We expect the standard starting 11 for the Sounders, maybe some early reserves, but this is a game they'll be playing to win. Three points would have the added bonus of guaranteeing the Sounders would finish with more points than they had last season, as well as move them closer to clinching one of MLS's six automatic berths in the U.S. Open Cup.
Of course, Sigi has also admitted that finishing fifth in the West would be better than sixth, so who knows?
Chivas USA's lineup is always in flux it seems, and with Alan Gordon suspended for the next two games and Justin Braun still questionable with a concussion, that hardly makes predicting their lineup any easier. We're rolling the dice and predicting that Sal Zizzo will get his second career start.
