Some games of interest this holiday weekend:
- USA U-20 National Team - The baby nats take on the Columbia and Mexico U-20 teams in the Torneo de las Americas in Kennesaw, Georgia this weekend. The game against Columbia is at 12:30 today and the Mexico match is on Sunday. The roster includes recently capped Gale Agbossoumonde and Juan Agudelo as well as West Ham's Sebastian Lletget. Doesn't look like there's any video or audio, so you might have to rely on Twitter for coverage of this one.
- USA Women - The home leg of the 2011 World Cup Play-In versus Italy takes place Saturday night at Toyota Park. The US is the #1 team in the world and will be heavily favored, but an aggregate loss would mean missing out on the Women's World Cup for the first time in the history of the competition. The game will be broadcast on ESPN3.
- UW Women - After consecutive upsets of #2 ranked Portland in the second round and #16 ranked UC Irvine in the round of 16, the Huskies are now in the quarterfinals of the NCAA tournament for the second time ever and the first time since 2004. They face Boston University at 1pm on Saturday for a chance to make it to the nationally televised College Cup. Doesn't look like there'll be video or audio, but the UW will host a live chat, which will be linked from their home page.
