Sounders battle back in 3-2 loss, but can't fill the holes

New, comment

Seattle were served by a Chris Pontius hat-trick that left Seattle with a 3-2 loss at home. Despite a dominating attacking performance, Seattle's defense let in one too many, and by the time Seattle staged a brave 90th minute comeback with James Riley and Fredy Montero grabbing desperation goals, it wasn't enough.

The Sounders had 20 shots to DC's 6, but a poor performance from Kasey Keller gifted DC with the most goals they've scored this season. Keller's mistakes led to all of the goals allowed.

I really want to say more, but for now I'll leave it and say that we could all use the MLS break. Right now, your thoughts are the same as mine.
