Defense: Hurtado is one of the strongest one-on-one markers in the league. He is strong at moving laterally and has good foot speed. He’s tall enough, and bulky enough that his physique isn’t an issue. Sometimes prone to the hard foul that earns him the Yellow Card.

Offense: He comes up on deep set-plays, but hasn’t gotten his head on the ball this year. His passing in tight quarters in the defensive third is fairly strong.

What you Love: He shuts down the opposing team’s stars more often than not.
What you Hate: The ACL injury that will mean that he misses the rest of the season.

What to expect in the second half: If there is one bright spot from the injury it is that Hurtado will likely be on the 2011 roster.
