Player Profile at the Break: Roger Levesque

Jeremiah posted some thoughts on the Timbers new logo just as I posted this. Go read about Levesque's least favorite logo ever. I kid. He may like the logo. I know he doesn't like the team.

Roger Levesque

Number: 24

Position: Forward

Primary Role:

Right Wing

Other Roles:

Height: 6’2"

Weight: 174

Age: 29

Nationality: United States

Last Team: USL Sounders

Roster Slot: Senior

Starts: 3

Minutes: 307

Goals: 0

Assists: 0

PP90: 0.00

+/- per 90: 0.59

Offense: Roger is best defined by his intelligent play. While he might not be as fast, nor as skillful as other players on the roster his sense of positioning is strong. He also has a strong work rate, and is willing to tussle down in the box.

Defense: Levesque, due to his tactical awareness, is a stronger defender than most attacking players in MLS.  This isn’t to say that he’s one of that rare breed of defensive forwards, but as a late sub he offers more defense than the youngsters.

What you Love: His passion and enthusiasm for the fanbase.
What you Hate: Those missed sitters.

What to expect in the second half: A lot of non-League play and appearances as a sub.
