Week 13 rankings.  Updated 6/30/10.

And yes, that means that two voters think that the Sounders are more likely to get the #3 pick than they are to make the MLS Cup Playoffs. While a run is certainly still a possibility, those chances diminish every week. Even winning 50% of reminging games would put the Sounders in only the low 40s for points, and still possibly missing the second season.

The Sounders only have 3 points against teams that Sagarin rates in the top 8. Only the Union and United have been as bad against the better than average. Against the good (top 4) Seattle has two points, good enough for 8th. All of Seattle's wins have come against bad teams, and the schedule has been relatively easy so far. Yes, that means it gets harder for the second half when points are just needed, but demanded from every match.

Hooray for the Open Cup.
