Match Day Quick Reference Card, Sounders vs. DC United

With the Sounders playing their sixth match in 18 days, we have a feeling there could be some more changes to the lineup. First and foremost, we wouldn't be at all surprised to see Tyrone Marshall reclaim his spot at center back with Patrick Ianni getting a much deserved day off. Ianni has played in every game and has played all 90 minutes in all but one (he was a 102' sub against Portland).

The other big changes we see are Osvaldo Alonso getting his first start since returning from injury and Sanna Nyassi getting the start in place of suspended Miguel Montano. Alonso played last week and considering the team is pretty much in do-or-die mode, it seems to make sense that they'd start him. Nyassi has looked good when he's played and see no reason he hasn't earned the chance to start.

Michael Seamon's ability to start is a little questionable, but Sounders coach Sigi Schmid said he practiced today and if his ankle looks OK tomorrow, he'll get the call.

Blaise Nkufo will likely be on the bench, and could see action if the Sounders are in a position to need a late goal.
