Quick Reference Match Card, Sounders vs. Galaxy (USOC version)

Sounders vs. Galaxy, U.S. Open Cup quarterfinals
Sounders vs. Galaxy, U.S. Open Cup quarterfinals

Like all U.S. Open Cup matches, predicting the lineups is pretty sketchy stuff. We've never let that kind of stuff stop us, though.

We're predicting Nate Jaqua to get the start up top. We think Patrick Ianni and Jeff Parke will be the starters in central defense. The rest of the guys are primarily reserves, although it's an intriguing lineup.

Michael Seamon and Miguel Montano have looked good in limited action. Sanna Nyassi has looked good in spurts. This is a collection of guys that could definitely give the Galaxy some trouble.

Unfortunately for the Sounders, the Galaxy have actually proven to be pretty deep, as this lineup shows. Every projected starter has started at least one MLS match and some of them were starting regularly while Edson Buddle and Landon Donovan were with the U.S. National Team.

We haven't heard anything yet about the color of the Sounders' kit, but since the Electricity has been such good luck, we figured they'd run it out once more.
