GameThread: Sounders host Marathon in Round 5 of Champions League

Let's get the most important thing out of the way first - THIS GAME IS NO LONGER ON FoxSoccer.

Arlo White will have a RADIO ONLY call on 97.3 FM or at www.MyNorthWest.com

The next most important thing is that this result does not matter for either side  Seattle. Both will put out B teams. Marathon can command their destiny with a win. Seattle needs points though. I'd hate to see them join DC United as winless in Group Play.

So rather than a preview, or keys to the game, let's go with What to Watch For;

1 - Miguel Montano's development. Will we see a Montano that times his passes better so that they hit the men in the box rather than after the defense has already gotten there? Will he try to force action by himself?

2 - Central Midfield - Seattle needs a 3rd CM, and right now they don't have one. Can Michael Seamon declare that he is ready to be in the 18 for Playoff games? Will we see Alvaro Fernandez show his vision?

3 - Fucito. Hopefully we see him with time both up top as the withdrawn man, and a little bit on the right wing. How does he fit in League Play and the Playoffs?

4 - Nate Jaqua - Can the target man declare himself fit and ready to dominate the Open Cup Final and win the Player of Tournament?

This is your gamethread.

Tonight's beverage is Men's Room by Elysian Fields for pregame, and probably just a soda in the stadium.

Lineups: Sounders: GK Boss, D Scott, D Graham, D Marshall (C), D Wahl, M Seamon, M Flaco M Estrada, M Montano, F Fucito, F Levesque; Marathon lineup: GK Orio, D Henriquez, D Acevedo, D Norales, D Palacios, M Berrios, M Machado, M Palacios, M Valladares, F Amarilla, F Mejia
