Even though the jubilation-slash-disappointment of last year's World Cup is still fresh in our minds, the work of US Soccer is never done. With the New Year upon us we can preview the calendar for the various national teams. Here's what's been scheduled so far:
Location | Event | |

Jan 22 | Los Angeles | Friendly vs Chile |
Feb 8 | Egypt | Friendly vs Egypt |
Feb 12 - Feb 28 | Jamaica | CONCACAF U-17 Tournament |
Mar 26 | NOT SEATTLE | Friendly vs Argentina |
Apr 3 - Apr 17 | Guatemala | CONCACAF U-20 Tournament |
Jun 5 - Jun 25 | USA | CONCACAF Gold Cup |
Jun 18 - Jul 10 | Mexico | FIFA U-17 Men's World Cup |
Jun 26 - Jul 17 | Germany | FIFA Women's World Cup |
Jul 29 - Aug 20 | Columbia | FIFA U-20 Men's World Cup |
Oct 14 - Oct 27 | Mexico | Pan American Games |
Also, there are a number of small tournaments that the youth teams generally attend (like the NI Milk Cup and Torneo de las Americas), though they might give them a miss with both the U-17 and U-20 World Cups taking place this summer. And there are going to be more friendlies announced later in the year for both the senior men and senior women as the women warm up for the World Cup this summer and the men get ready for World Cup qualifying next year.
