Cascadia Summit To Be Streamed On Sounders, Timbers, Whitecaps Websites

Unable to make it to the Cascadia Summit this weekend? Still upset the ticketing system crashed, leaving you out in the cold? Good news! The Seattle Sounders, Portland Timbers and Vancouver Whitecaps' websites will all be streaming the matches live.

The Sounders have made ample use of the live-streaming system, using it for U.S. Open Cup matches in 2010. After working out the kinks, the system seemed to perform well as problems with jerky playback disappeared as the Sounders progressed through the tournament.

In a fun twist, the teams will swap-out at the half, with one sides' play-by-play announcer calling the first 45 minutes and the other calling the last. The schedule is as follows.

Friday, March 4
7:30 p.m. Seattle Sounders FC v Portland Timbers

Saturday, March 5
4:00 p.m. Portland Timbers v Vancouver Whitecaps FC

Sunday, March 6
3:00 p.m. Seattle Sounders FC v Vancouver Whitecaps FC

More on the Cascadia Summit can be found at the Sounders' website.
