Chicago Fire Vs. Seattle Sounders, Matchcard: Projected Lineups, Statistics

Like we did for the match against Real Salt Lake, this week's Seattle Sounders projected lineup is more of a preferred lineup than one necessarily based on any inside information. In fact, it seems like based on the way personnel was deployed during practice this week, Fredy Montero could be on the bench again this week. We're hoping that's not the case, though, and are hoping Sigi goes with Mike Fucito and Fredy Montero as the forward pairing.

We really don't know if Mauro Rosales is match fit, but we're projecting him to start on the right side if he is, with Lamar Neagle getting the start on the opposite side. Chances are Erik Friberg will start at one of those spots if Rosales isn't fit. Brad Evans seems like a safe bet to start in the middle.

It also seems like a safe bet that Tyson Wahl gets another start at left back with James Riley on the right. We're projecting Jeff Parke and Jhon Kennedy Hurtado start at center back, but won't be at all surprised to see Patrick Ianni in for either one of them.

Our Chicago Fire lineup was provided by Hot Time in Old Town, SB Nation's wonderful Chicago Fire blog. Among the surprises in their starting lineup are new acquisition Cristian Nazarit, as well as Daniel Paladini getting the nod in place of Marco Pappa. It also looks unlikely that Patrick Nyarko will be available as he deals with a concussion.
