Just in case you need a bit of a distraction on this day of judgement for everything that the Seattle Sounders have done over the past four seasons, we wanted to put together a bit of a news roundup as some stuff actually happened.
The most relevant is that the LA Galaxy have announced the dates for the Western Conference finals. Regardless of who wins the Sounders-Real Salt Lake series, the first leg will be held on Sunday at Home Depot Center. The return leg would be one week later on Nov. 18. Kickoff would be at 6 p.m. and the game will be broadcast on ESPN.
Gspurning's Ggreen card: During the team's walk on Thursday, Sounders head coach Sigi Schmid announced that goalkeeper Michael Gspurning had received his green card.
That leaves the Sounders with just five internationals on their roster: Christian Tiffert, Mario Martinez, Adam Johasson, Michael Tetteh and Cordell Cato.

Montero, Gspurning both amont Castrol Index standouts: I have no idea what the Castrol Index really measures, but apparently Fredy Montero and Gspurning were rated well. Montero was the No. 7 overall player and Gspurning was No. 12, making him the top goalkeeper.
Eddie Johnson (14), Mauro Rosales (43), Osvaldo Alonso (48) and Jhon Kennedy Hurtado (49) were also among the top 50.
