The Seattle Sounders Reserves will open their 2012 schedule with a pair of mini-derby games against the Vancouver Whitecaps and Portland Timbers. Their first game will be at the University of British Colombia on March 26, which would be the day before a potential CONCACAF Champions League semifinal match. They will follow that up with a home match against the Timbers on April 10.
As they did last year, the Sounders will play all their home reserve games at Stafire Sports Complex. Most of those will be played midweek with a 7 p.m. kickoff. The only exception will be the the game against Chivas USA, which is scheduled for Sunday Sept. 9 with an 11 a.m. kickoff.
