Matchups between Toronto FC and Seattle Sounders FC are unique and different. Aron Winter's side does things that are unusual in the modern game. His use of Torsten Frings is outlined extensively in the scouting report, but there are other oddities. The wingbacks play very high. Danny Koevermans is plays in the hole, but not as a distributor. Players will matchup in ways they do not normally and the tactics that win the game likely won't be brought to other matches.
Player Matchups

- Jeff Parke v Danny Koevermans
- Adam Johansson v Luis Silva

Below is the first interactive matchcard of the year. Stats are for last season in MLS when available as it's match one. We'll transition to 2012 stats next week. The TFC lineup was provided by Waking the Red. We foresee only one change for Seattle as Marc Burch starts for Leo Gonzalez, but seeing Zach Scott, Patrick Ianni, Christian Sivebaek and maybe others wouldn't be too surprising.
The card has some minor tweaks from last year, but will continue to develop in presentation and data.
