When VH1 gets around to doing best week ever for March 12-18 of 2012 David Estrada will be featured. It won't be just because they want to make CHiPs references and show pics of funny glasses, but because Estrada had a best week ever. His rare First Kick hattrick earned him the MLS Player of the Week nod for week two. His three goals were the third ever on an opening day in Major League Soccer and the third time a Sounder netted three in one match. He's also up for Goal of the Week.

Estrada is an indemand player by local media. He was already on QItUp Sports and will be on both Seattle sports radio stations within the next 12 hours. Within a month conversations about Estrada grew from "can he make the squad" to "he's an intriguing utility player" to "I guess he defaulted into the starting role" to "Sigi Schmid needs to ride that hot foot."

The Seattle Sounders have scored six goals in all competitions with David Estrada netting four of them. Fans, players and coaches will be just fine if Estrada's foot keeps performing like that through the rest of the month starting with the Houston Dynamo on Friday Night.

Best Week Ever.
