Since Brian Mullan's tackle against Steve Zakuani, emotions have run quite high amongst the fanbases of both teams. Many would love to hear the Colorado Rapids midfielder talk before this game, some just want to move on with soccer. That first set will be disappointed based on a statement from the Rapids.

Brian is focused on helping the Rapids earn three points this Saturday in Seattle, and will be available to speak with reporters after the game. He remains deeply regretful of the incident which broke Steve Zakuani’s leg last season.

This really comes down to how people are defined. And it will be impossible to know how we are all defined until Mullan plays here. It is our test as fans of the sport, the team and Zakuani. It is our test as people.

In an ideal world would Brian Mullan talk before the match? Probably. But in an ideal world people don't get hurt playing games. Everyone has mistakes cluttering their past, most of us don't get the unique pleasure of having media question us about those mistakes.

Here's a call for Saturday night. Boo. Rant. Watch a win. Judge his post-match statements. And then hope he doesn't have exact change for his individual cab ride home since he was asked so many questions.
