Two goals from Sammy Ochoa led the Seattle Sounders Reserves to a 4-3 win over Chivas USA on Monday. It was the first win of the Reserve League season for the Sounders, who are now 1-2-1.

The victory certainly didn't come easily, despite the Sounders having the better of play. Seattle was forced to overcome two different deficits before Ochoa put the Sounders ahead to stay with a 70th minute strike off an assist from Andrew Duran. Ochoa's first goal also gave the Sounders a brief lead in the first half, but Juan Pablo Angel converted a penalty eight minutes later to tie the score.

Cordell Cato and Andy Rose also scored goals for the Sounders, who scored more goals in this game (four) than they had in their three previous games combined (one). Roger Levesque, Michael Seamon and Servando Carrasco also picked up assists.
