Most of the attention this weekend will be aimed at the Seattle Sounders and Vancouver Whitecaps as they kick off the 2012 Cascadia Cup. But their little brothers will be kicking off their own regional rivalry the same day (7 p.m.) when the Sounders U23 visit the Kitsap Pumas. It will be the first match of the new four-sided rivalry known as the Ruffneck Cup.
In addition to the Sounders and Pumas, the North Sound Seawolves and Washington Crossfire will also compete for the trophy. The winner will be determined by whichever team claims the most points in the 14 PDL games the teams will play against one another.
