Euro 2012: Open Thread

As we all know, the Seattle Sounders are off until next weekend. In the meantime, there's plenty of soccer to get our fix. Tonight, World Cup qualifying starts in ernest for the United States. But this morning and afternoon, we get what many consider to be the second best tournament in the world: The European Championship.

The first game kicks off between co-host Poland and everyone's least favorite underdog, Greece (apologies to those of you who actually enjoy the Greeks' defensive stylings). That's followed up by the other Group A match, Russia and Czech Republic. Neither are particularly glamorous matches, but they'll do a solid job of whetting our appetite for the more glamorous matches.

In the meantime, here's all you need to read up on this match via SB Nation Soccer. In fact, SB Nation Soccer went all out in previewing and covering this tournament. Here's where you can find just about anything your heart desires.
