Chelsea Friendly Ticket Giveaway

New, 42 comments

Thanks to the fine people at Allstate, a World Football Challenge sponsor, we have two pairs of tickets that we'll give to a lucky reader here. Allstate is supplying these tickets to us so we can let you know that former United States National Team goalkeeper Tony Meola will be at the Allstate Fan Zone prior to the Seattle Sounders match versus Champions League winner Chelsea FC. He'll be signing autographs, chat a bit and there will be an entry to win tickets to future Sounders games.

To win these tickets all you need to do is give what the Sounder at Heart staff judges as the best reason to go to a friendly. Consider this the opposite, though not antithesis, of Trophies Not Friendlies. The fact is that there is a friendly, it will be on national television, attracts sponsors like them (hello Allstate), former stars are brought out and there's some quality players that will take the pitch.

So why would you want to see an FA Cup winner and European Champion? Why would you want to see a friendly in general? Would you do it as part of a package to watch Chelsea, Galaxy, Timbers and Whitecaps? Or do you just want to see the Blues and aren't concerned with the local team?

Why friendlies? Again, the best two answers get two free tickets to the game between Seattle and Chelsea next Wednesday.
