The sun should be shining, and the crowd should be a sellout for the Seattle Sounders Women on this Friday evening. This will be the final home match of the 2012 season. Game time is 7:00pm at the Starfire complex. The FO says there should be an Olympian or two available for autographs, but they will not suit up for the game.

After a split on the road, the Women should be ready for a win to celebrate their successful rebooting of the team this season. They will be facing the Victoria Highlanders. Although the Highlanders are struggling this season, every team can win any given game, so don't count them out. Of course, being a Sounder fan, you already know that.

There were no major injuries on the trip to Colorado. Just bumps and bruises that time and ice heal. Most of the team will be available for Friday's game. Keelin Winters has moved on to her new team in Germany, and Kelli Smith has moved to Utah. Smitty may be able to join the team in LA, like she did in Colorado. Sydney Leroux, Alex Morgan, Megan Rapinoe and Hope Solo are restricted from play to rest up for the London Olympics.

A few tickets are still available through the Sounders Women website here. You can also buy them at the gate, but there may be slim pickins by that time. The game will be streamed online, and broadcast on 1150 AM KKNW in the Seattle area, you can find the game day links on You can also follow along with our live game thread here, or on twitter (@soundermom).

Join the W-League player of the week, Veronica Perez (find the story here), and her teammates as they face the Highlanders, and prepare to defend their playoff spot. Bring the kids so they can get autographs from their favorite players. Join in the celebration of the Seattle Sounders Women.
