Hype videos for Cup Finals are all the rage. There was the Sporting KC one that built confidence in their opponent's chances, there was the war metaphor and now there's the latest from MLS (and likely the Portland Timbers) hyping the Cascadia Cup match on Saturday. Overall it's a strong video if you hate Seattle Sounders FC, there's lots of neat Timbers goals and poor actions by Sounders players.

There's also the fact that the image of the Cascadia Cup they use is from when Portland held it last. That was back in those years when Seattle wasn't able to participate because we were too busy supporting a first division team. Here's the thing - Seattle holds the Cup. The Sounders won the Cup in 2011 and that little placard is important as it shows that Portland is not the equal of Seattle. Seattle and Vancouver are both tied with three Cascadia Cups and then there's Portland with just two. Both of the Timbers wins were in years without Seattle.
