United States Soccer Federation president Sunil Gulati, both verbally and non-verbally, confirmed that Seattle is being seriously considered for a World Cup qualifier on the road to Brazil 2014.

Seattle, Portland could BOTH host qualifiers
Word has been rampant that at least one of Portland or Seattle could host a qualifier, but now it appears they could both the June 11 and 18 games.

Is Seattle really in running to host WC Qualifier?
Both Joe Roth and Adrian Hanauer have gone on the record about welcoming the U.S. national team to CenturyLink Field, lending at least some hope to the possibility.
