Sounders featured on Bloomberg TV's 'C-Suite with Jeffrey Hayzlett'

If you're at all curious how the Sounders run from a business perspective, give this a watch.

By now, it's not all that big of a deal for the Seattle Sounders to be the subject of a TV show. We've seen the story being told from many different angles. So, I was a little skeptical when I saw that Bloomberg TV's "C-Suite with Jeffrey Hayzlett" were doing a bit on the Sounders.

But after watching this 20-minute piece, I must say that I actually feel as though I learned something. More than that, people who don't know the Sounders weren't fed a much of ridiculous hyperbole.

Hayzlett really focused on the business side of things, paying special attention to the unique partnership with the Seattle Seahawks. We learn that the two organizations share a ton of resources -- more than even I realized -- essentially all the way up. The only area where they are completely separate is on the technical side, which makes a ton of sense.

If you're looking for a piece of actual news, I'd count Joe Roth's estimation that the Sounders are now worth somewhere between $120-$150 million. We also learn that one of the Oklahoma City ownership groups -- there are at least two groups, one in the NASL and the other in the USL-Pro -- was asking for pointers (isn't that ironic?).

It was also a bit relieving to see both Roth and Adrian Hanauer give all the credit for the "March to the Match" to ECS, who of course has been doing it since the USL days.

Anyway, definitely worth a watch.
