Sounders at FC Dallas - Gamethread

New, 1100 comments

Another chance on national television (NBC, 11:30 AM) for Seattle to define its season. Or maybe at this point it is time to redefine the season. All it takes is winning against the 4th worst team in the league, a team that once lead the Shield race.

Tom Pennington

This match is about self definition. It is not about FC Dallas and what they are doing. It is not about the weakened lineup that Sigi Schmid will again be using. It is about having the initiative and doing something with it. There will still be several talented players on the field for Seattle Sounders FC. If they play at their ability and the supporting cast plays to the strengths of their leaders the game should be in Seattle's favor. If not, the depression of Sounders fans will match our region's status in conventional wisdom.
