Philip Lund, Doug Herrick no longer Sounders, for now

If you missed today's waiver draft you did not miss much. Two players were acquired by any team and only two Sounders players were announced as no longer Sounders.

USA TODAY Sports

In today's waiver draft two Seattle Sounders FC players were made available. Philip Lund was waived by the team while Doug Herrick was waived by the league (he was a pool keeper). Neither player was selected in the draft. They and the 24 other players let go in this round of trade-like draft things are now free to sign with any team in MLS on a first come, first serve basis.

That means that they could be Sounders once again, or not. It just kind of depends on the direction the team takes.

Two players were drafted. Brad Stuver is now with the Columbus Crew (formerly a pool keeper) and Paolo DelPiccolo joins the New England Revolution from the Montreal Impact.

Your list of waived frees within MLS is;

CHIVAS USA: MF Daniel Antunez, MF Marvin Iraheta*, GK Patrick McLain
CHICAGO FIRE: GK Paolo Tornaghi
COLUMBUS CREW: DF Drew Beckie, FW Aaron Horton, MF Kyle Hyland, MF Matias Sanchez*
D.C. UNITED: FW Lionard Pajoy, MF Alam Syamsir*
HOUSTON DYNAMO: MF Alex Dixon
MONTREAL IMPACT: MF Maximiliano Rodriguez*
NEW YORK RED BULLS: DF David Carney
NEW ENGLAND REVOLUTION: FW Matt Horth, MF Gabe Latigue, DF Bilal Duckett
PHILADELPHIA UNION: MF/DF Don Anding, MF Greg Jordan, MF Kleberson*, GK Oka Nikolov*
SAN JOSE EARTHQUAKES: FW Marcus Tracy
TORONTO FC: FW Danny Koevermans*, MF Michael Thomas
VANCOUVER WHITECAPS: DF Greg Klazura

* is for international players

There are other players whose options and rights were declined. Not all of them are frees. This is because of the single-entity system. Most will be available in the Re-Entry Draft which will occur in two stages after the MLS Cup Final.

Seattle and a few other teams have not made public which players' options and rights were relinquished.
