The league released a list of 50 college seniors who are invited to the MLS Combine in Florida next month. Taylor Peay and Spencer Richey of the University of Washington are included, as are Sounders U23 players Aodhan Quinn and Eric Stevenson of Akron.
Chicago
Less than a week ago, Real Salt Lake was in the MLS Cup Final. Now, the team has lost its head coach and its top assistant. C.J. Brown, who played for the Chicago Fire in its inaugural season in 1998 until his retirement in 2010, is returning to Toyota Park to join Frank Yallop's coaching staff as his top assistant. New York
Not only does New York City FC have a new head coach who has appeared in 4 cup finals since 2009, but it appears that it will get a new soccer specific stadium near Yankee Stadium in the Bronx. The stadium would seat 28,000 and cost $400 million.
New England
After a 16 year MLS career, New England Revolution goalkeeper Matt Reis announced his retirement. Hours later, he was named goalkeeper coach with the LA Galaxy, where he started his MLS playing career.
New England quickly moved to replace Reis by trading for Vancouver's Brad Knighton. This is a homecoming for Knighton, who started his MLS career with New England in 2007.
Toronto
It appears that Toronto FC has made its first DP signing of the offseason. 24 year-old Brazilian striker Gilberto was reportedly in town for a team physical yesterday.
TFC also signed goalkeeper Joe Bendik to a multi-year contract on Tuesday.
Portland
The chairman of Bayern Munich has confirmed that his team will be the opponent in the 2014 MLS All-Star Game in Portland.
The Thorns have named Paul Riley as the team's new head coach.
Vancouver
Bob Bradley reportedly turned down an offer to coach the Vancouver Whitecaps in favor of a job in Europe.
Houston
Dynamo Theory looks back on Brian Ching's career in Houston. If you've been around long enough, or are just a hardcore Sounders fan, you may remember that Ching played for the Sounders in 2001 and 2002 in the A-League.
NWSL has reportedly approved Houston to join the league as an expansion team in 2014. This probably means some sort of expansion draft will happen between now and the start of the season.

The owner of Minnesota United FC is ramping up efforts to become one of the remaining MLS expansion teams by the end of the decade. With plans for a downtown stadium in mind, owner Bill McGuire visited Kansas City to get an idea of the type of investment building a MLS ready soccer stadium would require, in addition to the expansion fee.
