David Beckham is working hard to meet the December 31 deadline for securing his MLS expansion franchise. If he fails to meet the deadline, it will cost him an extra $65 million in expansion fees.

Rumors of Jason Kreis' future seem destined to be one of the main story lines of the MLS Cup Final. Sports Illustrated's Brian Straus claims that a deal between Kreis and New York City FC is nearly done.

At noon today, Don Garber will deliver the State of the League address and reveal the names of the MLS Best XI for the 2013 season.

Once Erick Thohir's takeover of Inter Milan was finalized, it was only a matter of time until some sort of connection was established between his Serie A team and his MLS team.
