Colorado Rapids assistant coach Wilmer Cabrera is being linked with the vacant head coaching position at Chivas USA. His current contract expires at the end of the season, but Colorado has offered him an extension. The last time Chivas hired a head coach from within MLS, they brought in Robin Fraser from his position as an assistant coach at Real Salt Lake.
